We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. To Allah belongs what He takes, and to Him belongs what He gives, and for everything He sets a specific term.
The Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI) of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group mourns the death of Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohiyeldin, a member of the Institute’s Board of Trustees.
The late Dr. Ahmed was a distinguished expert in Islamic economics and finance, and one of the most prominent actors in the development of Islamic financial institutions.
On behalf of the staff of IRTI, we extend our sincere condolences to the family of Dr. Ahmed, his family and loved ones, members of the IRTI Board of Trustees, Al Baraka Banking Group, and all stakeholders of Islamic economics & finance and Islamic financial institutions.
We ask the Almighty Allah to forgive him and receive him in the home of the righteous with the foremost righteous and martyrs.
