About the Forum
The IsDB Global Forum on Islamic Finance is a flagship annual knowledge-sharing platform initiated in 2006 to foster high-level policy dialogue on innovation in Islamic finance and development.
The 20th edition of the Forum will focus on the role of Islamic finance in fostering regional integration and sustainable prosperity among IsDB Member Countries. The Forum will address key development traps that constrain economic resilience, and highlight innovative Islamic social finance mechanisms, like Awqaf Free Zones, as tools for mobilizing resources to support food and energy security.
Furthermore, there will be the launch of a flagship report titled “The Prospects of Islamic Finance in Azerbaijan”, prepared by IsDBI with input from ITFC, and honoring of the top achievers of the Applied AI in Islamic Finance Capacity-Building Program & Competition, a pre-Annual Meetings initiative designed to generate high-impact AI-driven solutions for the Islamic finance industry.
