The Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI) has organized a training course in Islamic Banking and Finance for officials of the Indonesian Hajj Management Fund Agency (BPKH).
The program was held in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on 14-16 Ocober 2019, within the framework of a broader collaboration between BPKH and the Islamic Development Bank (sDB) Group.
It followed a visit by the hajj agency’s officials to IRTI on 19 August 2019, where the two institutions agreed to organize two training programs for BPKH staff on Islamic Finance.
During the visit, Acting Director General of IRTI, Dr. Sami Al-Suwailem, appreciated the collaboration with BPKH and assured that IRTI would work towards the realization of the objectives of the partnership to support development in IsDB member countries.
