The Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI), a member of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, mourns the death of Dr. Rafic Yunus Al-Misri, one of the pioneers of Islamic economics, a renowned researcher in the field of Islamic finance and the winner of the IsDB Prize in Islamic Economics in 1997.
On behalf of the IsDBI, we extend our sincere condolences and sympathy to the family and loved ones of the late Dr. Rafic Yunus Al Misri, and all stakeholders of Islamic economics and finance.
We ask the Almighty Allah to forgive him and receive him in the place of the righteous with the foremost believers and martyrs.
